Hey friend, I'm Amy and I have IBS, too

While I've had IBS since I was a tiny bébé, I wasn't diagnosed until I was 29. 

In those 29 years, I heard a lot of opinions on how to solve my chronic pain and vindictive guts. Some handy tips included losing weight, eating "healthier," trying some self-care, or my personal favourite >> that the pain was in my head (what?!).

It wasn't until a bowl of chilli caused a stabbing pain in my gut so intense I had trouble breathing that a new doctor finally took me seriously.


He diagnosed me with IBS, handed me three pieces of paper on the low FODMAP diet, and walked me out the door.

After a brief cry and a VERY dramatic call to my husband about how I was never going to eat again, unbeknownst to me, the rest of my life started. 

Within a year of starting the low FODMAP program and learning which tools were right for my unique body, I went from feeling trapped in my home and living in fear of food to running my first marathon. 


I want the same thing for you! So I upgraded my skills to become a Monash-certified health coach and nutritionist and created Flip Your Leaf Coaching. Since then I've teamed up with hundreds of women to help them find peace and comfort in their bodies! Are you next?

What does coaching with me look like?

If you've been struggling with your gut symptoms for more than a hot minute, odds are a lot of people have had opinions on your body and how to manage it. So let's try something new! In my coaching practice, you will always be the expert on your body. Period.

That means my job as your coach is to help you learn what it is that your body needs and to use my skills and training to connect you with the tools you need to make it happen! I coach people, not robots. So everything we do will be designed for your unique body and with your direct input!


When we're done, you'll come away armed with tools to make you feel comfortable in your own skin and give you the freedom to live your life with peace of mind that your body is a calm, predictable, and safe place to be.

Before I met Amy I was uncomfortable in my own body. I was very gassy and never knew when I might have to pass wind. It was so embarrassing. Now I'm more comfortable in my skin and feel like I have control of my body.
